My portrait of gorgeous Perth life model Jane Hebiton “Nothing to Wear” is a semifinalist in the Moran Portrait Prize. Now to wait until Nov 4th to see if it makes the finals!

Lester Prize
I finally made the finals of our Western Australian Portrait Prize. This has been a lesson in persistence and loads of brush hours. My painting of Premier Mark McGowan as #statedaddy” is currently in the AGWA. The exhibition finishes next week. It has been the highlight of my art career thus far.

Tischler En Plein Air Tour New Zealand 23/2/2106 - 5/3/2016
I have just returned from 11 days painting in New Zealand with Andrew Tischler and Sam Earp, both fabulous artists! It was my first real taste of painting in the great out doors and it was truly magical and inspiring. There are no excuses now as I have a beautiful Mabef pochade box and tripod. Cant wait to get outside and paint now.
